The White Crater



The White crater, Ciwidey, West Java
The white crater is located in Mount Patuha, a mountain located in West Java. Its height is about 2386 meters. The crater of Mount Patuha is known as an attractive tourism objects with the name of the White crater.
After parking the vehicle, we have to down the stairs in order to be closer to the crater of this mountain. We will immediately be amazed at the overall chuckle from the stairs above. At this resort, we are able to be close with the crater of the mountain though we only could touch the water.
We will see the incredible sights from this crater. White ground consisting of sulfur is the reason why the crater is called the White crater. It's unique to see white ground from here. The greenish water craters also attract attention. There are drying mountains but there are some green trees around that crater.

On this mountain, you will find drying trees and many branches that fall with small stones. We can also see the crater from top of the mountain.

Sometimes the color of the water can change depending on the sunlight. The smoke from the sulfurous water sometimes arises and blocking our view. The water also caused smell of sulfur. When the wind was blowing, the smell of sulfur can pierce our noses and make us cough. So, there are several points on this crater are fitted with a warning “not to get too close to avoid the fumes of sulfur poisoning”.



These craters will give us different experience. We seem to be in the snow because the ground is white. Large craters and the water are bluish green to make us feel on the beach. The trees are only the stems. It is dried and helped to create a different atmosphere around the craters. There is also a beautiful large stone. Its beauty makes this place become a favorite place for couples to make pre wedding photos.

Place of Tourism in North Sumatra




North Sumatra province has a variety of exotic tourist attractions and historical value even worth a visit. One of them is Parapat. This town lies in the beauty of Toba Lake, and Samosir Island is famous to foreign countries. You only take three to four hours drive from the capital city of North Sumatra, Medan.

From Balige, the trip is continued by ferry along the Toba lake for two hours. The cost is quite expensive to reach, its price is about 800 thousand Rupiahs. Tickets must be booked also ship a few hours earlier. To save, you should not traveled alone.

Tanah Lot
















The Tanah Lot Shrine

Tanah Lot is an tourist object in Bali, Indonesia. There are two shrines which are on the big stone. The one is on the stone hunk and steeply sloping riverbank resembles Pura Uluwatu. The Tanah Lot shrine is part of Sad Kahyangan, where the shrines are the pivotal strength of Bali. The Tanah Lot shrine is the ocean shrine, which is place for revering the God.


The Myth


Based on the myth, this shrine was built by a Brahmin who roamed from Java. Danghyang Nirartha who corroborate the Baliness Hinduism and built Sad Kahyangan at the 16th century. By the time, Bendesa Beraben was the master in Tanah Lot, was envious of Danghyang Nirartha, because most of his adherents followed Danghyang Nirartha. Danghyang Nirartha was expelled by Bendesa Beraben. Before Danghyang Nirartha left Tanah Lot, he moved the hunk of stone into the midst of beach and built the shrine there. He changed his scraf into a snake which kept the shrine. Today, the snake is still in the shrine.

The Tanah Lot is at Beraban, about 13 km from the west of Tabanan. In the south of Tanah Lot, There is a shrine whose location is on the steeply sloping riverbank. It connects between the land and the shrine. It likes a bridge. Tanah Lot is a place where we can see the most beautiful sunset. Tourists always come and watch the sunset here.

When you enter the shrine, there are a lot of art shops and canteens surround you in the parking area. The cheapness toilet which was rent to the domestic or foreign tourist.


The Holy Day


Odalan is a holy day in the shrine which is celebrated once in 210 days. It is celebrated near the Galungan and Kuningan celebration which are held at Holy Day Buda Cemeng Langkir exactly. In that day, there are so many people pray in this place.
